• A recurrent 11 year successful development of share and profit in all regions through a mix of organic growth (product repositioning, NPD, strategic opportunities [price wars], geographic expansion) and external growth (M&A, incl trademarks acquisitions). Consistently achieved or exceeded the budgeted / reviewed EBIT target during 11 years.
• Relocated and successfully led 2 major post merger integrations: Tobacco Division of Austria Tabak (€2,1Bns) and Cita Group in Iberia (€105Mln)
• Led 2 acquisitions: Gustavus (Sweden) and Cita Group (€105Mln) and collaborated with BD teams to the commercial due diligence of over 20 M&A projects
• Restructuring of Gallaher’s Scandinavian market leading operations (40% MS) with EBIT put back on growth track (€40M)
• Co-inventor in 1996 of a new product for France initially, later rolled-out in Western Europe (best footprint of 5%+ MS in Italy in 2006)
